This research is centered on the development and application of analytical methods for the characterization of nanomaterials. Opportunities exist to study the composition of nanomaterials and chemical entities that may be bound to nanomaterials, utilize analytical separation techniques and instrumental methods to characterize physical and chemical properties and compositional distribution of nanomaterials, and explore the fate of nanomaterials in the environment or in biological systems.
