Funding Amounts: Up to $75,000/year for PI salary; up to $50,000/year for research development; up to $25,000/year for curriculum/research coordinator; max $150,000/year direct costs; project period up to 5 years; 8% indirect costs.
Summary: Supports established investigators to build aging and/or Alzheimer's research capacity at their institution through infrastructure, mentorship, and career development activities; independent clinical trials are not allowed.
Key Information: Applicants must be current PI on an active NIA R01 (or equivalent) or NIA subproject; U.S. citizens or permanent residents only; minimum 25% effort required.
