Description
This program funds comprehensive, community-based projects that develop or expand prevention, intervention, treatment, and response strategies for children and youth (ages 0–24) impacted by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking. The goal is to address the unique needs of young victims and those at risk, supporting both direct services and broader community responses.
Projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Prevention education and outreach
- Crisis intervention and counseling
- Advocacy and case management
- Training for professionals and community members
- Development of coordinated community responses
- Culturally specific and trauma-informed services

Eligibility
Eligible applicants include:
- City or township governments
- Independent school districts
- Native American tribal governments (federally recognized)
- Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments)
- Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education)
- Units or agencies of local government
- Tribal nonprofit organizations
- Schools
- Victim service providers
- Faith-based organizations
Note: Institutions of higher education are not eligible unless they fall under another eligible category.
