This opportunity encourages applicants to develop new methods or adopt existing models to study wave propagation or wave-particle interaction in the ionosphere-magnetosphere system. Research topics range from electromagnetic signals interrupted by ionospheric density irregularities (i.e., scintillation) to wave-particle interaction scattering energetic particles in the inner magnetosphere.
