The Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response Program (ICJR Program) is designed to help state, local, and Tribal governments, as well as courts, enhance their criminal justice system's response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The program aims to treat these offenses as serious violations of criminal law, improve victim safety and autonomy, and hold offenders accountable. Funding supports coordinated community responses, law enforcement and judicial training, victim services, and policy development.
