At the request of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a planning committee appointed under the auspices of the Board on Behavioral, Cognitive, and Sensory Sciences at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will organize and convene a workshop and expert meeting on best practices for implementation and evaluation of suicide prevention grants programs.
