The fellowship provides financial support, professional development, access to facilities, and public recognition to honor and sustain the work of culture bearers in their communities.
Fellows will receive a $25,000 unrestricted award, participate in a statewide network of culture bearers, gain access to Indigenous Roots facilities and resources, and be honored at a public gathering ceremony.
