The Communications Technology Laboratories (CTL) dependence on dated bandlimited coaxial and rectangular-waveguide calibration services complicates the traceability chain for a growing and frustrated customer base whose products are largely on-chip. These components are rapidly evolving and now require ever-increasing bandwidths to characterize.
