Our research focuses on the development of air quality models and their evaluation. NOAA/ESRL modeling activities currently support air quality forecasting from local to continental scales; fundamental research in atmospheric photochemistry and transport related to air pollution; and the direct and indirect effects of pollution, and natural emissions on regional climate and weather.
