Candidates for the esophageal diseases fellowship must have completed post M.D./D.O. training in internal medicine and subspecialty training in gastroenterology. A strong academic record and appropriate recommendations are essential. Candidates must have demonstrated an interest in esophageal disease and have been involved in some esophageal research.
