Description
The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program – Pathways (RCORP-Pathways) is a grant program administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) aimed at enhancing behavioral health care in rural communities. The program focuses on youth engagement and workforce development by:
- Goal 1: Pathway – Establishing programs that introduce rural youth to behavioral health careers and facilitate their entry into formal training programs.
- Goal 2: Engagement – Encouraging youth to develop and implement peer-driven behavioral health support programs tailored to rural community needs.
- Goal 3: Sustainability – Creating innovative, multi-sector partnerships to ensure the long-term continuation of RCORP-Pathways activities in targeted rural service areas.
Award recipients will work within a network of organizations to develop and implement these youth-focused behavioral health initiatives, ultimately improving access and quality of behavioral health services in rural settings.

Eligibility
Eligible applicants include a broad range of domestic organizations serving rural areas, such as:
- State, county, city, township, and special district governments (including the District of Columbia and U.S. territories)
- Native American tribal governments (federally recognized) and tribal organizations (non-federally recognized)
- Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) IRS status (excluding institutions of higher education)
- Independent school districts
- For-profit organizations, including small businesses
- Public and private institutions of higher education
