Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) represent a challenge to public health, particularly in the African continent, where their prevalence is intertwined with socio-economic disparities. The objective of this topic is to progress the development of prophylactic vaccines against NTDs in sub-Saharan Africa. Proposals should carry out early and/or late-stage clinical studies to evaluate the safety, immunogenicity, efficacy in Africa in NTDs. To become a beneficiary, legal entities must be eligible for funding. To be eligible for funding, applicants must be established in one of the Member States of the European Union, including their outermost regions, Overseas Countries and Territories, Countries associated to Horizon Europe, or constituent states of the EDCTP Association.
