Description

The purpose of this research is to develop advanced characterization techniques for physical and chemical properties in complex engineered polymeric systems during their service lives in energy, infrastructure, and other applications. This includes exploring microscopic tools like atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy, and spectroscopic tools like infrared and Raman microscopes to study microstructural changes and chemical degradation in multilayer polymer systems.
