Description
This opportunity funds the management and operation of the EducationUSA advising center in Albania for the 2025–2026 cycle. EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network that provides accurate, comprehensive, and current information about U.S. higher education to international students and institutions. The selected organization will facilitate daily operations, logistics, and outreach activities, helping to strengthen people-to-people ties between Albania and the United States, support economic growth, and promote democratic values.
Key objectives for the funded period include:
- Expanding student advising outreach across Albania (in-person, virtual, school visits, and partnerships)
- Exploring new potential partnerships
- Publicizing the advising center
- Strengthening networking with teachers and career counselors
The EducationUSA adviser (appointed by the U.S. Embassy) will handle programming, outreach, and applicant tracking, while the grantee manages logistics and operational support.

Eligibility

Application Process

- The proposal should address how the organization will manage the center’s daily operations (utilities, rent, adviser’s salary, internet, and in-country travel) and support the outlined objectives.
- The EducationUSA adviser will be appointed by the U.S. Embassy and will coordinate programming and outreach.
