The FEMS-Lwoff Award rewards individuals or groups in the field of microbiology who create high-quality knowledge to address societal problems. Winners receive a prize-lecture at the FEMS Congress, opportunities for research presentation, a commemorative silver medal, and an honorarium of €1000. Nominations for the award can be submitted on the FEMS website. The deadline for nominations is 10 March 2024, 23:
