DescriptionThe purpose of the grant is to support long term research visits abroad for Danish-based senior researchers in clinical, translational and basic biomedical sciences with a focus on neuroscience or disciplines supporting neuroscience. The aim of the stipends is to ensure that research directors are able to focus fully on their research during a consecutive period of secondment at an international research institution. Applications must be submitted via the Foundation's application system and will be processed within 3-4 weeks.

Award Ceiling$500,000

Eligible Applicants- At least 5-years tenure at a Danish university hospital or research institution as associate professor- consultant- senior researcher or professor. Applicants cannot re-apply within 3 years after receiving a sabbatical grant.
