DescriptionArtsKC and the Kansas City Film Office present the Teri Rogers Filmmakers Grants, honoring the late Teri Rogers, aimed at supporting early-career directors creating new film and digital production work in the short film, narrative genre. The grants support ambitious projects that make a positive impact on the community.

Eligible Applicants- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older- residing in the five-county Kansas City metropolitan area- and in the early stage of their film career. They must assume the role of director with artistic/creative control over their project and prioritize diversity- equity- and inclusion. Projects other than short film narrative genre are not eligible. This grant is avaliable to people located in Five-county Kansas City metropolitan area (Jackson- Clay- Platte counties in Missouri; Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas).
