This federal program provides funding for large-scale transportation projects of national significance located on Federal Lands or Tribal transportation facilities. The aim is to support construction, reconstruction, or rehabilitation projects that improve critical infrastructure, enhance safety, promote sustainability, and further the U.S. Department of Transportation’s strategic priorities, including equity and climate resilience. The program is authorized under the FAST Act and funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).
