--- ## Description The TEAM-UP Together Scholarship is a collective initiative led by the American Institute of Physics and partner organizations to address the underrepresentation of African American undergraduate students in physics and astronomy. The scholarship aims to provide direct financial support and foster a supportive academic environment, with the overarching goal of doubling the number of African American students earning bachelor's degrees in these fields by 2030. The program is funded by a $12.5 million grant from the Simons Foundation and Simons Foundation International. Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic commitment, and demonstrated understanding of the challenges and opportunities for enhancing access and equity in physics and astronomy.
