This grant provides funding for New York State My Brother’s Keeper Community Networks (NYSMBKCN) to support the My Brother’s Keeper Fellows Program (MBKFP). The program is designed to offer rising 12th-grade high school students—particularly boys and young men of color—authentic leadership experiences, mentorship, and opportunities to develop and complete service projects that benefit their schools and communities. Each Fellow participates in a 10-month internship, receives mentorship from a partner organization, and engages in statewide activities, including the NYSMBK Statewide Symposium and a Fellows Retreat. The program aims to build a statewide network of MBK Program Ambassadors who serve as leaders and advisors in their communities.
