Description
This grant, administered by the Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC), funds individuals and organizations working to create, celebrate, and teach the art, culture, and heritage of Minnesota’s diverse communities. The program is designed to uplift stories and traditions of Indigenous organizations, underrepresented cultural communities, recent immigrants, and veterans. Projects must focus on preserving cultural heritage, promoting educational outreach in cultural diversity, developing humanities and arts programming, or empowering communities to build identity and honor unique cultural legacies. Funding is available for new work or new additions to existing work, not for ongoing or previously funded activities.
