The Korea Foundation Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research is designed to support emerging scholars who have recently obtained a Ph.D. in a Korea-related research topic at a university or research institution outside of Korea. The fellowship aims to foster full-time research in fields such as humanities, social sciences, arts & cultural studies, media & communications, contemporary Korean studies, or other relevant disciplines, and to advance global scholarship in Korean studies. Recipients are expected to conduct research, revise and publish their doctoral dissertation, and actively participate in Korea-related academic activities at an institution outside Korea. The program is open to scholars worldwide except those based in North America, Europe, and Japan.
