    Description

    This program funds research projects that advance the understanding, diagnosis, or treatment of intellectual disabilities of genetic origin, except Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). Supported research areas include fundamental studies on disease mechanisms, translational projects with potential patient impact, clinical research (including early-phase studies and ancillary trials), epidemiological investigations, and neuropsychology or methodological innovation.
