--- ## Description This opportunity funds projects to identify gaps and implement solutions in public alert and warning systems, enabling the delivery of timely emergency information to the public and protection of critical infrastructure. The program addresses rapid technological changes, cybersecurity threats, and evolving public content preferences. Recipients will work closely with FEMA to explore and deploy innovative, forward-looking technologies and methods for disseminating emergency alerts, including streaming services, sirens, voice systems, satellites, and internet-connected devices. The program is implemented as a cooperative agreement, ensuring active FEMA involvement in project selection, oversight, and evaluation.
