    Description

    This program, administered by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ), provides competitive reimbursement rebates to replace eligible on-road and non-road vehicles or equipment with new, lower-emission or all-electric alternatives. Funding also covers electric vehicle infrastructure when replacing with all-electric vehicles. The initiative is supported by the EPA Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) and the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust. The goal is to reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality throughout Idaho by accelerating the adoption of cleaner vehicle technologies.
