Description
The Santa Barbara Foundation’s Multi-Year Community Grant Program provides two-year, unrestricted general and programmatic operating support to nonprofit organizations serving Santa Barbara County. The program focuses on three critical areas: Behavioral Health & Health Care, Food, and Shelter & Safety. It is designed to strengthen the nonprofit sector’s capacity to address basic needs, reduce administrative burden, and foster long-term planning and resilience.
Grants are intended to be flexible, supporting both organizational operations and direct program work. The Foundation emphasizes nondiscriminatory and inclusive practices, collaboration, and evidence-based approaches, with the goal of enhancing the safety net for the county’s most vulnerable populations.
