This annual grant, presented by the Large Firm Roundtable (LFRT) and the AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF), aims to perpetuate innovation in architecture by supporting students, emerging professionals, and early-career architects in testing new, disruptive ideas. The grant funds projects that challenge traditional practices, processes, or products in the architecture profession—whether through leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workflow innovation, project delivery, or new prototypes and technologies. The program is designed to empower individuals or small groups to pursue untested concepts that advance the field and might not otherwise be possible due to resource constraints.
