Description
This funding opportunity from AmeriCorps is designed to support Native American tribal governments and eligible tribal organizations in engaging AmeriCorps members to address key community needs. The program aims to foster civic engagement, improve lives, and strengthen communities through evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions delivered by AmeriCorps members. Projects may focus on areas such as education, health, disaster relief, economic opportunity, veterans and military families, environmental stewardship, and the preservation of Native languages and cultural practices. Members serving under these grants may receive living allowances and, upon successful completion of service, a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.
