Description
This opportunity, administered by the Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, is designed to directly support individual artists and culture bearers residing and working in Southern Arizona. The grant invests in creative jobs and incentivizes both civic and arts engagement by providing up to $10,000 for artists to deliver arts services to a client of their choosing (client may be a business, nonprofit, school, government, community group, or other eligible entity). The program aims to foster viable compensation for creative work and strengthen the region’s arts economy through a competitive peer-panel review process. Only individual artists (not organizations or collectives) are eligible to apply, and funds are awarded in exchange for services such as programming, workshops, mentorship, facilitation, artistic services, artwork, or consultations.
