The President’s Award of Excellence recognizes three state presidents each year who demonstrate extraordinary leadership in advancing school nutrition programs within their states. The award celebrates outstanding achievement in four core areas: Voice of School Nutrition, Career Development and Growth, Stakeholder Community, and Thriving Organization. To ensure fairness, one president is selected from each SNA membership division (small, medium, and large affiliates). Winners are chosen based on their success in implementing strategic initiatives and meeting or exceeding membership and professional development goals as determined by SNA Headquarters.
