The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), a component of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, administers this invitation-only funding opportunity under its Justice Information Sharing Training and Technical Assistance (JISTTA) Program. The funding supports continued services to the six Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) Centers and the RISS Technology Support Center (RTSC).
This opportunity is a carve-out from the RISS allocation and provides support through a cooperative agreement. Its focus is continued support for those centers, rather than an open competition for new applicants. Applications are limited to the Institute for Intergovernmental Research, Inc. (IIR), subject to receipt of an official BJA invitation letter.
