Description
This grant opportunity, administered by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), provides funding to accredited, associate, affiliate, and satellite members of the National Children's Alliance (NCA) in Pennsylvania, as well as developing centers seeking NCA membership. The program aims to strengthen the capacity of Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Multidisciplinary Investigative Teams (MDITs) to deliver comprehensive, state-of-the-art services for child victims of sexual and physical abuse. Funding can be used to expand, enhance, or sustain services, support attainment or maintenance of NCA accreditation standards, foster collaboration across agencies, and implement outreach, prevention, and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
