This pilot grant is designed to fund basic, translational, or clinical research projects in head and neck oncology. The focus is on studies relevant to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, or pathophysiology of head and neck neoplastic disease. The program encourages innovative and interdisciplinary research, especially proposals introducing new methodologies or demonstrating collaboration across related fields. Projects must be feasible within a 12-month period and should have the potential to evolve into larger, long-term research programs. Institutional and mentor support is required for all applications.
