Description
The Tribal Homeland Security Grant Program (THSGP) provides direct funding to federally recognized tribal nations to enhance their ability to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from potential terrorist attacks and other hazards. The program is designed to address the unique risks and needs of Tribal Nations, including those related to remote locations, limited resources, and infrastructure challenges. Funding supports activities such as planning, organization, equipment, training, and exercises that improve homeland security and emergency preparedness.
