This opportunity, administered by the Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, funds the implementation of the U.S. Speaker and Specialist Program in India. The goal is to connect American subject matter experts with Indian professionals and institutions on issues central to U.S. strategic, economic, and security interests. Program topics include regional and maritime security, cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructure, emerging technologies, strategic competition, energy security, and innovation-driven economic growth.
Awardees will organize eight to ten in-country speaker programs across India and ten virtual engagements. Target audiences include professionals from think tanks, research institutions, technology and innovation sectors, industry stakeholders, and business leaders involved in trade, investment, and supply chains, as well as other professionals influencing policy, technology, security, and economic outcomes relevant to U.S. interests.
