The Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship is a nationally competitive, one-year paid program for graduate students and recent graduates interested in the intersection of science and policy related to ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources. Fellows are placed in federal executive or legislative branch offices in Washington, D.C., where they contribute to real-world policy, communication, and program analysis work. The fellowship provides immersive, hands-on experience in national policy development and decision-making, as well as access to a broad professional network.
