This opportunity supports early-career researchers committed to advancing the field of myotonic dystrophy (DM) through innovative basic, translational, or clinical research. The Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation (MDF) aims to retain talented investigators in the DM field by funding projects that address critical knowledge gaps, improve patient care, and contribute to scientific understanding of DM1, DM2, and congenital DM. The grant is open to researchers at academic or nonprofit research institutions worldwide, with preference given to projects focused on DM2. Both physician-scientists and basic/translational scientists are eligible, with two distinct award tracks.
