Description
The 2027 Onco-Anaesthesia Fellowship in Kolkata, India, is a 12-month, in-person program developed by the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) in partnership with Tata Medical Center. Designed specifically for anaesthesiologists from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), the fellowship offers intensive clinical and academic training in onco-anaesthesia. Fellows gain hands-on experience in high-volume cancer surgery, perioperative medicine, advanced airway and vascular management, blood/fluid management, regional anaesthesia, and cancer pain care. Academic activities include biweekly didactic sessions, case conferences, and morbidity and mortality reviews.
