Description
This program provides formula grant funding to support the establishment, maintenance, and expansion of rape crisis centers and nonprofit organizations in New Hampshire that deliver direct intervention and related assistance to victims of sexual assault. Eligible organizations may use funds for a broad range of services, including 24-hour crisis hotlines, advocacy in medical and criminal justice settings, counseling, information and referrals, culturally specific outreach, and the development of educational materials. The program is designed to ensure comprehensive, accessible support for victims of all ages and their families, with a focus on community-based approaches and addressing the needs of underserved populations.
