Description
This funding opportunity supports the planning, implementation, and management of the Young Southeast Asian Leader Initiative (YSEALI) ScamShield Regional Workshop in Cambodia. The workshop, organized by the Public Diplomacy Sections of the U.S. Mission to ASEAN and U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, will bring together approximately 60 YSEALI alumni and 11 CyberSafe alumni mentors from all 11 ASEAN countries. Over four days, participants will engage in expert panels, site visits, and collaborative sessions to design action plans focused on detecting, disrupting, and dismantling the financial operations of transnational scam groups. The goal is to empower young leaders to counter criminal networks that target both Southeast Asians and Americans, fostering cross-border collaboration to disrupt illicit financial flows and enhance regional security.
