PROJECT GOAL: This project aims to develop the Federal Government of Somalia's (FGS) capabilities and capacity to achieve international aviation security, safety, and operational standards. Through the specialized training, advice, mentoring, and equipment, this project will help the FGS achieve an ICAO rating for MGQ, strengthen the FGS's oversight of MGQ and operations of Somalia's regional airports, and thwart terrorist efforts to attack MGQ and its aircraft.
