Description
This program supports research and capacity-building activities aimed at enhancing the nation's STEM education enterprise. It is designed to help researchers—especially those from underrepresented groups and diverse institutions—develop the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to conduct high-quality STEM education research. The program welcomes proposals that build investigator capacity, expand methodological expertise, and address critical issues in STEM learning, broadening participation, and workforce development.
The solicitation offers three tracks:
- Individual Investigator Development (IID): For both new and experienced researchers seeking to build or expand their capacity in STEM education research.
- Institutes for Methods and Practices (IMP): For organizations to offer training institutes in advanced research methods and practices.
- Conferences: For well-focused events aligned with ECR: BCSER goals.
