Description
The Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) at the U.S. National Science Foundation offers Postdoctoral Research Fellowships to foster early-career independence by supporting research and training plans addressing key scientific questions in SBE fields. The program features two tracks: (1) Fundamental Research in the SBE Sciences (SPRF-FR), and (2) Broadening Participation in the SBE Sciences (SPRF-BP). Fellows receive direct funding to pursue research at U.S. academic or nonprofit institutions, under the mentorship of a sponsoring scientist, with the goal of preparing for scientific careers in academia, industry, or government.
