Description
The program provides two-year postdoctoral research awards to early career scientists from groups underrepresented in STEM, supporting research and professional development at active Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST) at minority-serving institutions (MSIs). The goal is to enhance research capacity at MSIs, broaden participation in STEM, and prepare postdoctoral scholars for leadership roles in the scientific community. Scholars conduct research aligned with the host CREST Center’s focus and receive active mentoring from a scientific mentor at the center.
Women, veterans, persons with disabilities, and members of underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
