Description
This opportunity from the National Science Foundation (NSF) funds the creation of new tenure-track faculty positions in geospace science at U.S. institutions of higher education (IHEs). The program aims to strengthen research and education in geospace science—including solar and space physics, space weather, aeronomy, and related fields—by integrating these topics into natural sciences, engineering, or related departments. The grant also encourages the development of undergraduate and graduate curricula and seeks to broaden participation by supporting minority-serving institutions (MSIs) and emerging research institutions (ERIs) through a dedicated track.
