    Description

    This opportunity from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) supports postdoctoral researchers, individuals in non-independent positions, and newly independent Early Stage Investigators (ESIs) who demonstrate exceptional creativity and propose novel, original, and insightful research concepts. The goal is to fund projects with the potential to make a major impact, test scientific paradigms, or advance key concepts in broad and important problems in biomedical research relevant to NIAID. Projects that represent an unexpected convergence of disciplines, new scientific directions, or employ novel methodologies are encouraged. Clinical trials are not allowed under this funding opportunity.
