Description
This cooperative agreement provides funding of up to $740,650 USD over a three-year period to support the Indo-Pacific Infrastructure Mapping Project. The project aims to produce a comprehensive landscape analysis, geographical mapping, and risk assessment of existing and planned infrastructure projects across the Indo-Pacific region. The work will support dual presidential Quad and Pacific Islands deliverables by providing actionable information on infrastructure opportunities, including life-cycle analysis and tailored action plans for each identified project.
The funding authority is derived from the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, and the project aligns with U.S. foreign policy objectives to enhance regional security, economic development, and cooperation in East Asia and the Pacific.
