Description
This opportunity provides supplemental funding to add open science components to existing NASA ROSES (Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences) awards. The goal is to increase the accessibility, inclusivity, and reproducibility of science from the parent award, contribute to open science communities, and/or provide cloud computing credits to further support or expand the parent project. Eligible activities include modernizing and releasing scientific software, making data openly available, developing tutorials, contributing to community software, and supporting cloud-based workflows.
Supplements are intended to be small, rapid, and impactful, with a streamlined application process and a short (3-page) technical proposal. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis until the final deadline.
