DescriptionThe Enhancing Investigation and Prosecution (EIP) Initiative is authorized by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, Pub. L. No. 117-328, 136 Stat. 4459, 4530-31 (2022). This initiative is designed to promote, and evaluate, effective policing and prosecution responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Additional Eligibility Information

Eligible applicants are limited to: state, territorial, county, local, and/or Tribal law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices that investigate or prosecute crimes of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking in the United States or U.S. territories. States, units of local government, and Tribal governments may apply on behalf of law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices that lack authority to apply on their own.
