DescriptionThe U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announces the opportunity to apply for approximately $269 million in FY 2023 Supplemental Discretionary Grants. This is a competitive grant program under the project grant authority for Airport Improvement Program (AIP). Eligibility of projects. Every applicant must be able to demonstrate that its proposed project is able to meet all grant requirements, including appropriate procurement of services such as construction bids, and be able to execute a grant no later than May 31, 2025. Subject to funding availability, FAA will consider applications for AIP-eligible projects under the following Priority Project Categories airfield operational resiliency (AOR); sustainable aviation fuel (SAF); and emissions and energy improvements (EE).
